Associate

Nicholas is a corporate lawyer with particular experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures and general corporate advisory.  His involvement as a key team member on a large number of deals means he is able to drive due diligence processes efficiently, provide appropriate solutions to identified risks, ensure clients are well protected through the negotiation of key documents, and facilitate smooth transactions whilst coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Finance) with Distinction from the Queensland University of Technology.  He was ranked second in his graduating year, and awarded the Tom Cain Trophy for Outstanding Achievement by the Faculty of Law.  Nicholas is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.

Nicholas has a strong interest in corporate law and its intersection with corporate strategy.  This has been developed through competing in strategy consulting competitions, where he engaged with organisations ranging from global corporations to local start-ups and achieved podium finishes against some of the world’s top universities.
