Dan Collins

Principal

Dan is head of Talbot Sayer’s property and agribusiness practices.

He has experience in a wide range of property law matters, from advising property developers, institutional investors and private landowners on their commercial, residential and industrial portfolios, to assisting farming families and agribusiness companies with their rural interests. Dan was named Agriculture and Rural Affairs Lawyer of the Year (Brisbane) in the 2021 edition of ‘The Best Lawyers of Australia’.

Dan has previously worked as in-house counsel for one of Australia’s largest property development and construction companies.

Dan was formerly head of the food and agribusiness practice, and partner in the real estate division, at McCullough Robertson Lawyers and is listed as a leading Queensland agribusiness lawyer in the 2019 Doyle’s guide to the Australian legal profession. He is also listed in the 2019 ‘The Best Lawyers in Australia’ guide for Agriculture & Rural Affairs.

He is commercially focused whilst ensuring his clients’ interests are adequately protected.
